Container Magazine

Container is an online magazine for new and different explorations of creative technology. It raises up a multiplicity of voices – ones that question, dissent and explore – and aims to avoid the ‘techno-heroic’ narratives of the successful individual, ‘big tech’ or corporate greed.

Three times per year, a new issue is released with a handful of new stories. They are stories that explore the people, processes, beliefs and motivations behind creative technology. Container is interested in the journey, the ecosystem, the collaborative efforts, and the failures on the way to creating great things.

Container is part of our research and development programmes – Bristol+Bath Creative R+D and South West Creative Technology Network – which are funded by the AHRC Creative Industries Clusters Programme and Research England’s Connecting Capabilities Fund respectively.
