Creative Workforce for the Future
Creative Workforce for the Future worked with cultural organisations and companies across the region to connect them to exceptional talent from underrepresented backgrounds. It was a flexible and bespoke pilot programme of professional development, focusing on inclusion for companies and paid placements for young people.
It was led by Bristol+Bath Creative R+D, working with Rife at Watershed, Knowle West Media Centre, Creative Youth Network, Spike Island and Bristol Museums. It was an exploratory one-year pilot programme funded by the West of England Combined Authority (WECA) and the European Social Fund (ESF) and ran from Autumn 2019 to March 2021.
