From catastrophe to hybridity to recovery?

COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on the creative and cultural sector in South West England. In this comprehensive piece of work, a first for the region, we explore these impacts, by asking five key questions about medium and long term transition as well as the potential for building resilience. This piece of work also begins to unpack the implications of a sector in transition, exploring what factors have enabled subsections to continue to function despite a completely different way of working.

Could supporting a transition to hybridity (a combination of digital and non-digital means) play an important role in ensuring a resilient transition and subsequent path to recovery for the South West Creative and Cultural Sector? Or is a multi-faceted recovery approach needed?
