Network for Creative Enterprise

The Network for Creative Enterprise (NfCE) was established to help freelancers, artists, creative practitioners, start-up microbusinesses, and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership region make a sustainable living from their creative ideas.

The two-and-a-half year partnership gave business support for creative individuals and small companies, to develop a creative idea into an economically sustainable business. Network for Creative Enterprise offered a flexible and tailored approach to business support, with free space, mentoring, skills workshops, producer support and small business development bursaries.

The project ran from October 2017 to June 2019 and was awarded £1m by Arts Council England and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to achieve this ambition.
